Write for us

We welcome pitches that help readers explore talent, creative practice and making with care, curiosity and an eye for the resources people already have.

What to propose

Send a focused idea about curiosity, practice, making, collaboration or opportunity. We are interested in clear explainers, comparisons, background pieces, myth-checks and occasion-based guides. A pitch should identify the reader, the central question and the distinct point the piece would make.

What makes a strong pitch

Keep the proposal specific and grounded. Explain what readers will understand or be able to consider afterward, and why the subject suits Active Talent Journal. Practical ideas should be safe to adapt without specialist credentials, expensive equipment or assumptions about a reader's time and resources.

How to send it

Send proposals through the Contact page and choose the editorial reason for writing. Include a working title, a short summary and any relevant experience or links you choose to share. A pitch is a proposal, not a promise of publication; please do not send a complete article unless requested.
